2011 Sachsenring 125cc FP1 Result: Terol Leads From Faubel

Nico Terol's reign in the 125cc class continues, the championship leader topping the timesheets in the first session of free practice by a comfortable margin at the tight and twisty Sachsenring circuit. The lead swapped several times throughout the session, with Hector Faubel sharing the top time with Efren Vazquez, before Terol finally seized control. Vazquez was forced to settle for 2nd, just a couple of hundredths ahead of Faubel. 

The conditions for the session were far from ideal: cold and very windy. The weather should improve as the day goes on, local meteorologists say.
