Anthony Michael Hall Arrested in Neighborhood Dispute

We've certainly come a long way from those innocent John Hughes movies in the 1980s where Brat Pack member Anthony Michael Hall played sweet, funny nerds. According to the Los Angeles Times, Hall was arrested Monday night after a dispute with his neighbor that threatened to turn violent.
The neighbor told the LAPD that the actor had gone on a rampage in the common area of their Los Angeles condominium complex, and was tearing up plants, pounding on people's doors and screaming. The neighbor came out to investigate and ask Hall to keep it down.
This reportedly led to a confrontation where Hall told the neighbor he would "beat him to a pulp." Backing away from the fight did no good, because Hall later knocked on the same neighbor's door and asked him to come out to fight. The neighbor slammed the door and promptly called the police.
According to TMZ, Hall was booked on supsicion of disturbing the peace and was released shortly after midnight.
Maybe Hall needs to go to a morning detention hall where he can bond with four other misfits, as he did in The Breakfast Club. Spending time with "an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal" may do this former nerd some good.
