Audrina Patridge Is Quitting Reality TV

It sounds like the Patridge is flying the reality-TV coop.
Audrina Patridge, who skyrocketed to fame with her role on MTV's The Hills, now says that her latest foray into unscripted television, the eponymous (and low-rated) MTV series Audrina, won't return for a second season. And, what's more, she's ready to quit the medium that made her a gossip-magazine staple -- at least for now.
"No, I don't think we are," she told The Daily when asked if Audrina would be returning for a sophomore run. "We finished in April, and I kind of decided I wanted to take some time off from reality. I want to do something more like acting or hosting."
In other words, get ready for Into the Blue 3 -- or, perhaps, a scripted drama about a mother and daughter who fight crime while wearing matching blue bikinis.
If Patridge does decide to stick with reality TV, however, she might do well as a celebrity advisor on Dancing with the Stars. Patridge made it to the top 5 on season 11 of the show, and she tells People that her Hills pal Kristin Cavallari -- who was recently selected for DWTS' 13th season -- reached out to her for advice. And Patridge obliged.
"(Kristin) texted me, and she was like, 'Hey, I was just thinking of you, and I wanted to tell you I'm doing Dancing with the Stars. It's going to be fun, right?'" says Patridge. "And I was like, 'Yeah, you're going to have an amazing time! You'll be in the best shape of your life.'"
But Patridge also warned Cavallari that DWTS isn't a cakewalk, either. "I told her it's going to get hard, but just have fun with it... I had a blast," she says. "Ballroom dancing, it's totally different than just going to a club and dancing, so it takes a lot of commitment and dedication. You really have to live in the dancers' world."
